Several of your sellers have been scammers! I suggest you weed them out!

Ask to see car or have a hired mechanic. Some items listed look too good to be true. Also ask for more information and pictures on the car. Good luck.

When I tried to contact a seller through the app about a car it asks for a Listing URL. Well the app does not give a listing URL so how am I supposed to contact them? If a seller lists their phone number invariably these cars have been sold a long time ago so who is monitoring these ads? So the app is a nice concept but it’s impractical and outdated. also the search needs to be more specific.

This is just old classifieds listing that get a time stamp update every two weeks or so.

NO ONE ever responds to requests for more information on the car I’m interested in and I also wonder how much of a scam some of these ads are. I’ve also noticed some pictures of the cars are the same but different locations and prices vary that is a RED FLAG to me that it’s a scam.

I find several ads on this site that seem ‘dubious’ if not outright fraudulent, people trying to scam. Like the EXACT same pictures but listing different locations. When contacting for more info like VIN # , they don’t respond. Also, site allowing listings of “1 km” for car mileage is a form of phishing, as searchers go to ask ‘how many miles’? You don’t hear back. Listings of 1 km should be a RED FLAG for Trovit. It also questions this website’s validity. I’ve sent feedback on these ads, & the SAME ADs resurface under a different city, state, but EXACT SAME PHOTOS & TEXT. Seeing reviews rated HERE that are many years old seems to raise further suspicions. The cars listed are of interest, IF they are REAL. I’ve yet to find them valid. I continue viewing to gauge authenticity & to warn. I’d list ONE STAR, but giving them benefit to respond &/or tighten up their way of listing. Be careful.

I’ve been looking for vehicles on this site and showed interest in several. I emailed through the site and have never received a response from any of them.

App is all over the place. Difficult to use. Doesn’t return to where you started out.

The app is a total scam. I figured it was too good to be true & it is. Every contact that was made was a fake person. The prices of the vehicles should’ve been the first indicator for me. Don’t waste your time

Tried purchasing (3) trucks and all have turned out to be a scam. Do trust these people with a logistics company involved. I’ve contacted law enforcement and they are all being investigated.

I was looking at Plymouth GTX and found areal beauty in red in Columbus, Ohio then I found another one in Los Angeles, California and they are the exact same ad from two different states! So I’m wondering if this is a legit site?

No way to stop a gazillion emails heading your way. No way to unsubscribe or opt out.

Searched the web for reviews of this app and all are negative STAY AWAY

Don’t waste your time. There is no way to search newly listed ads so you have to scroll thought ads months old and the newest adds might show up on the sixth page. LOTS of scammers on here listed cars that don’t exist just to try and scam you out of money. You report the scam add and nothing happens.

I’ve had this app for a couple of years and it’s full of scams 90% of the deals on here are fraudulent. You’ll see the same car listed in different places at different prices and it will constantly be re uploaded every week to pop as new. The real sellers on this site are so hard to contact it’s not worth your time.

Scammers are linked to this app. Proceed with caution!

Stay away

There are cars her I know are no longer available. Some have been here over a year or more. It is a waste of time for lookers. Have been watching AVANTI for approx 18 months. Cars are listed more times than once at different prices and different locations. Today there are 107 cars listed. I doubt there are more than 10% actually available. Thanks Randy

Don’t believe anything you see in this app. The same pictures will show up in multiple adds showing the car in multiple places for multiple prices. I tried contacting 6 - yes 6 different owners and the answers were always the same. ‘Where are you located?’ Followed by ‘the car is in storage because I am in the military or overseas for work...blah, blah, blah’. Not one single legitimate add. All were attempts to steal my $$.

It is what it is and nothing else. It’s just an aggregator that pulls in scam listings. Beware

The app works well for what’s it is. An aggregator that pulls in published car ads. However, readers and users please be careful. Many of the ads are fake. Scammers are using other legitimate sellers photos and creating fake ads. They also have a really attractive price. I made three contacts one a private seller and two supposed dealers. On every contact when I tried to arrange for a Pre Purchase Inspection company the stopped responding. Do your research and always get an inspection report.

I have attempted to contact several advertisers ... the only that respond are the ones either out of country or work on an offshore oil rig. The assortment of cats is great, but I can google pictures on line. Not really worth asking for a response if it falls on deaf ears.

Look up a car your interested in, and you will find the exact same car, the exact same pic, with the exact same description, But listed in 5 or 6 different cities! They will take your information and your bank acct! Trovit doesn’t even try to look for duplicates.

I have yet to get a reply from anyone through here. Waste of time unless you like looking at cars that don’t exist.

I searched for Ford Woodys and it come up with BMW’s? And the cars that do show up do not have any contact info, only to “message the seller”, who rarely if ever respond. The prices cannot be correct, way too low. If seen the correct add elsewhere with the correct price, what’s up? Great idea but the you cannot trust anything Trovit gives you

This app is so weak. Every car I put it comes up with no ads. Not even common cars like a 350z. Piece of garbage app. Waste of time.

I ask about different trucks and get zero response

They have had a least 6 cars that my dealership owned and sold listed by other sellers who have stolen my pictures. Buyer beware.

Many of the listings featured on the app are false, taken from other websites by scam artists and listed at a fraction of the price of the original listing in an effort to obtain a deposit from you. Do not use this app.

0 stars would be better! Scammers have taken over and try to steal your money with an elaborate set up! Beware! never got any responses from real sellers!

Can’t search a specific model year and what’s with making the model year( 2.012)with the period between numbers??

Found a vehicle on this site with stated 20000 miles and original owner. Did a car fax review. Car had 42000 miles and 4 owners. App needs do more research on vehicles before allowing them to post.

I was looking for a 68 camaro and as I was browsing the same 68 camaro was located in the different states. One was Albany the second was Virginia and the third I didn’t write down. I don’t know how many more time it is posted because I stopped after seeing it a third time. By the site doing this it looks to me as a scam. I don’t know if they have a person that checks these listing but they should.

I really like this app for locating vehicles of possible interest. My hope is as they continue to improve app searches can get more specific. Today, luckily a Ford van with 6.8L engine was listed among search of vehicles listed in email. Since I am looking for one type of vehicle it would be great if only they show up in search preferences. My choice Ford Econoline E-350 cargo van with V10 (6.8L) motor. I am not interested in Extended chassis E350 for 15 passengers. Not looking for passenger van, not looking for box truck. Point is some manufacturers have a multitude of choices I’d love to create a more targeted search criteria even if matches rarely show up or once-in-a-while.

This app is good for me looking for old cars to restore. I’m okay with a bit of a drive, you can give your location to limit distance. However, when it tells you the location of a car for sale, it doesn’t say how far it is. Also, it’d be extremely helpful to have a minimum and maximum distance option.

I've reached out to five different Sellers claiming to be selling a car I was intertested in. Four of the five never responded at all and the fifth turned out to be a con artist. (more about that in the next paragraph). I also contacted the app administrator about the 80% lack of response from each seller but I never received a single response to my four complaints. Now for the con artist..... In his first response to me he told me that he's in Baghdad on assignment for the military so he can't arrange a test drive of the car (STRIKE ONE). When I responded that I live 20 minutes from the advertised location of the car so I can look the car over before turning over the cash, he replied back that he inexplicably shipped the car to Minneapolis though a third party who coordinates transactions for sellers who are overseas so it cannot be inspected (STRIKE TWO). But....and here is the best part.....IF I WIRED THE ENTIRE PUCHASE PRICE TO HIM the car would be delivered to me in 12 hours with his promise not to touch the money until my mechanic has thoroughly inspected the car (STEEEERIKE THREE!). I promptly responded that I just needed the bank information and federal id number so I could verify it..... No surprise that's the last communication we had. The common denominator with all five "sellers" was their offering price was $2-$3k below the average asking price for the car I'm looking for. So word to the wise....the asking prices sound too good to be true because they are!
